O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar o índice de aceitação e adesão ao uso de medicamentos manipulados no município de Redenção-PA. Além disso objetiva-se identificar se a população está ciente dos benefícios e se os mesmos são relevantes para a aquisição de tais produtos traçando assim o perfil dos consumidores de medicamentos manipulados deste município. Realizou-se uma pesquisa qualiquantitativa-descritiva através de um questionário estruturado aplicado de março a maio de 2020. A população para a pesquisa foi definida aleatoriamente através de abordagens nas ruas e residências de Redenção. Foram incluídas na pesquisa 100 pessoas com idade superior a 18 anos. Dentre essas pessoas, 40% adquire na farmácia medicamento manipulado, 48% medicamento industrializado e 12% perfumaria. A maior parte da amostra (78%) conhece os medicamentos manipulados. Quanto ao uso, 71% utiliza ou já utilizou. No que diz respeito aos benefícios, 70% conhece os benefícios do medicamento magistral. Quanto a preferência, 51% afirmou preferir o medicamento manipulado. Mais da metade dos usuários (52%) consome apenas sob prescrição médica. Os resultados evidenciaram que o medicamento manipulado possui alto índice de aceitação no município de Redenção/PA corroborando com a ideia de que atualmente o mercado magistral vem sendo digno de credibilidade e confiança.
The objective of this study was to determine the rate of acceptance and adherence to the use of manipulated drugs in the municipality of Redenção-PA. Furthermore, the objective is to identify whether the population is aware of the benefits and whether they are relevant to the acquisition of such products, thus tracing the profile of consumers of manipulated medicines in this municipality. A qualitative-descriptive research was carried out through a structured questionnaire applied from March to May 2020. The population for the research was randomly defined through approaches in the streets and residences of Redenção. 100 people over the age of 18 were included in the survey. Among these people, 40% buy manipulated medicine in the pharmacy, 48% industrialized medicine and 12% perfumery. Most of the sample (78%) knows the manipulated drugs. As for use, 71% use or have used it. With regard to the benefits, 70% know the benefits of the masterful medicine. As for preference, 51% said they preferred the manipulated medication. More than half of users (52%) consume only under medical prescription.
