Neste artigo, conceituaremos “elite política”. Para tal, nos determos em três aspectos visando um melhor entendimento quanto à formação desta categoria: primeiro, buscaremos conceituar elite política através de uma análise sobre a sua formação e estruturação durante o surgimento do Estado moderno; segundo, observaremos a articulação e o engajamento dessa elite política nas instituições da sociedade civil organizada em face à nova estruturação da política onde o Estado monopolizou a violência; terceiro, enfocaremos “elite política” dentro da comunidade e região, objetivando perceber sua atuação no processo de homogeneização do Estado-nação diante de uma realidade de disparidades culturais, econômicas, sociais e políticas com que se deparou o projeto renascentista e iluminista bem como a emergência de uma nova elite política.
In this article we intend to define “political elite”. We will highlight three aspects aiming at a better understanding about the origin and constitution of that category. First, we will try to give a definition of “political elite” by analyzing the formation and structuring of it during the birth of the Modern State. Secondly, we will analyze the engagement of that political elite with the sectors and institutions of civil society in the face of the new political structuring in which the State monopolized the official violence. In third place, we will highlight the “political elite” inside the community and region trying to find out their behavior in State-nation homogenization process, in the face of the cultural, economical, social and political imbalances reality that the renaissance and illuminist project had to face, as well as the arising of a new political elite.
