Este artigo pretende abordar
e levantar, através de informações
localizadas em fontes jornalÃsticas,
como foram registradas as reportagens
sobre o Primeiro Congresso Nacional
do Negro realizado na cidade de
Porto Alegre entre os dias 14 e 21 de
setembro do ano de 1958. Esse encontro
foi realizado na Câmara Municipal
e na sede social da Sociedade Beneficente
Floresta Aurora.
This article intends to
approach and to raise, by means
of data gathered in press sources,
how were recorded the news articles
about the Black’s First National
Congress realized in the city of Porto
Alegre between the september 14th
and 21th in 1958, together with municipal
government in the headquarters
of the Beneficient Society Floresta Aurora.
