Este artigo utilizou como fonte primordial a Egils saga (c. 1220-1230), redigida pelo erudito
islandês Snorri Sturluson (1178-1241). O objetivo foi descrever a imagem do rei Haraldr inn hárfagri
(Haroldo dos belos cabelos, c. 850-933) na Batalha de Hafrsfjord (c. 890) e as relações de ambiguidade
entre islandeses e noruegueses do século XIII que foram transpostas à obra.

This article used as primordial source the Egils saga (c. 1220 -1230), written by the Icelandic
erudite Snorri Sturluson (1178 -1241). The objective was to describe the king's image Haraldr inn
hárfagri (Harald Finehair, c. 850 -933) in the Hafrsfjord battle (c. 890) and the ambiguity relationships
among Icelanders and Norwegian of the century XIII that were transposed to the work..
