Este artigo tem como objetivo realizar a análise de variância e regressão para a caracterização temporal e correlação de elementos climáticos, em Vitória da Conquista - BA, tendo como base a temperatura do ar e precipitação. Para tal, utilizaram-se dados meteorológicos da série histórica referentes aos anos de 2000 a 2016, coletados no Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia e do Terrestrial Air Temperature 1981-2010. Observou-se uma relação polinomial entre o volume de chuva mensal em função dos meses do ano, o que permite para temperatura a utilização do modelo matemático y = -0,007x4 + 0,208x3 - 1,804x2 + 4,977x + 19,03 estimar os valores de temperatura para os anos de 2000 a 2016.
This article aims to carry out the analysis of variance and regression for the temporal characterization and correlation of climatic elements, in Vitória da Conquista - BA, based on air temperature and precipitation. For that, we used meteorological data from the historical series for the years 2000 to 2016, collected at the National Institute of Meteorology and Terrestrial Air Temperature 1981-2010. A polynomial relationship was observed between the monthly rainfall volume as a function of the months of the year, which allows for temperature the use of the mathematical model y = -0,007x4 + 0,208x3 - 1,804x 2 + 4,977x + 19,03 to estimate the values temperature for the years 2000 to 2016.
