Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a exposição internacional de Chicago, ocorrida no ano de 1893, tendo como principal foco as observações de um brasileiro que visitou o evento e publicou uma matéria na Revista Industrial de Minas Geraes, matéria esta totalmente inclinada para a área de inovações em energia elétrica que ocorreram neste evento. Desta forma fazendo uma pequena observação da circularidade de conhecimento existente no final do século XIX.
This work aims to analyze the international exhibition of Chicago, during the year 1893, focusing mainly on the observations of a Brazilian who visited the event and published an article in Revista Industrial of Minas Geraes, matter is fully tilted to the area innovations in electric power that occurred in this event. Thus making a small observation of existing knowledge circularity in the late nineteenth century.
