Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar os rebatimentos do processo de Renovação do pensamento Geográfico e Histórico no século XX utilizando-se da pesquisa bibliográfica tecendo as contribuições da Geografia Histórica e Geohistória que surgiram como crítica a Geografia Moderna do século XIX. Assim, buscamos elucidar como ocorreu esse processo de formação metodológica das correntes de pensamentos, os profissionais que ajudaram a disseminar esse novo método e os Annales que trouxeram grandes contribuições introduzindo a “Nova História” através da interdisciplinaridade com as ciências sociais no tempo histórico. Além de mostrar que esses ocorreram três movimentos para essa renovação e que apenas um surgiu fora deste contexto, em 1970.

This study aims to analyze the refutations of the process of Renewal of Geographical and Historical thought in the 20th century using the bibliographical research weaving the contributions of Historical Geography and Geohistory that emerged as a criticism of Modern Geography of the nineteenth century. Thus, we sought to elucidate how this process of methodological formation of thought currents occurred, the professionals who helped to disseminate this new method, and the Annales who brought great contributions by introducing the "New History" through interdisciplinarity with the social sciences in historical time. In addition to showing that these occurred three movements for this renewal and that only one emerged out of this context in 1970.
