Este artigo pretende ser uma reflexão plural acerca das representações artÃsticas sobre a
dialética intercultural e os jogos de poder imbuÃdos nas preocupações estéticas e
conceptuais da artista portuguesa Ângela Ferreira. Tomando como foco central algumas
das suas obras seminais iremos refletir sobre os aspetos polÃticos e sociais, mas também
estéticos e artÃsticos, acerca do colonialismo europeu sobre terras africanas, assim como,
da cultura popular dos grandes centros urbanos
This article is intended to be a reflection about the plural artistic representations
regarding the intercultural and dialectic power games imbued in the aesthetic and
conceptual concerns of Portuguese artist Ângela Ferreira. Taking as central focus some
of her seminal works, we will reflect on the political and social aspects, but also artistic
and aesthetic ones, about the European colonialism on African lands, as well as the
popular culture of the great urban centres
