Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar algumas questões desenvolvidas pela epistemologia genética de Piaget, que teriam estreita relação com a Matemática. Mais especificamente, serão discutidas, a visão epistemológica geral de Piaget, sua concepção sobre a epistemologia da matemática e características do conhecimento matemático segundo a epistemologia genética. Finalmente, são exploradas algumas implicações destas considerações para o ensino de matemática, visando enriquecer e permitir o aprofundamento da reflexão sobre a prática docente.
This paper intends to analyse some aspects of Piaget's genetic epistemology, closely related to Mathemathics. More specifically, we discss Piaget's epistemological point of view; his conceptions of the major epistemological problems in regard to Mathematics, and the genetic epistemology's view about the feature of the mathematical knowledge. Finally, we discuss some implications of this questions for mathematics teaching, having in view the improvement of the thinking about teacher's practice.
