Este artigo analisa determinados aspectos do debate entre Jean-Paul Sartre e Claude Lévi-Strauss sobre as contribuições do existencialismo para a etnologia. Além disto, aborda algumas contribuições de autores contemporâneos sobre as relações entre evento e estrutura, mito e história.
This article analyzes certain aspects of the debate between Jean-Paul Sartre and Claude Lévi-Strauss on the contributions of existentialism to ethnology. In addition, it addresses some contributions by contemporary authors on the relations between event and structure, myth and history.
