Entre outros momentos ao decorrer do período histórico onde seres humanos eram usados como cobaias. Atualmente, a ciência busca sim, novos conhecimentos que exigem fase experimental, mas são realizados segundo uma regulamentação que concerne aquilo a qual pode ou não ser realizado, pois o Estado busca proteger a dignidade da pessoa humana e garantir integridade física de cada um. Cada vez mais essa área necessita de atenção quanto aos métodos aplicados e a Bioética e o Biodireito vem fazendo um papel importante. Abranger melhorias para o bem-estar do ser humano é necessário estar em conformidade com o direito também.
