Analisa-se a obra Precisamos de novos nomes, de NoViolet Bulawayo, publicada em 2014, focando a interpelação e os conflitos sofridos pelas personagens negras femininas e periféricas no romance. Voltada ao movimento feminista negro e à trajetória histórica da mulher negra na sociedade, esta análise utilizou aporte teóricos de: Davis (2016), hooks (2014; 2019). Quanto à interseccionalidade, como meio de articular a interação do racismo e do patriarcado, em geral, foram utilizadas obras das teóricas Collins e Bilge (2020), Crenshaw (1991), Vergès (2020). A análise revelou que as personagens Darling, Chipo e Fostalina, mulheres negras e pobres, são vítimas de interpelações como o racismo, a objetificação e a pobreza.
It analyzed the work We need new namesby NoViolet Bulawayo, published in 2014, focusing on the interpellation and conflicts suffered by the peripheral black female characters in the novel. Focusing on the black feminist movement and the historical path of the black woman in the society, this analysis used a theoretical approach based on: Davis (2016), hooks (2014; 2019). About intersectionality, as a way of articulating the interaction of racism and patriarchy in general, they used the works of Collins and Bilge (2020), Crenshaw (1991), Vergès (2020). The analysis revealed the characters Darling, Chipo and Fostalina, black poor women, are victims of interpellations such as racism, objectification, and poverty.
