Neste artigo objetiva-se retomar alguns estudos desenvolvidos sobre a noção de metaficção, a fim de investigar alguns procedimentos estéticos empregados no romance Um romance de geração, de Sérgio Sant’Anna (2009), dentre os quais, a configuração de um personagem-escritor. Tomando como pressupostos teórico-críticos os estudos formulados por Faria (2012), Hutcheon (1984), Lepaludier (2002), Waugh (1984), dentre outros, esperamos que os resultados da pesquisa, ora desenvolvida, apontem para um princípio de diálogo com outras discussões já consolidadas a respeito da narrativa em questão.
In this article we aim to bring back some studies developed on the notion of
metafiction, in order to investigate some aesthetic procedures used in Sérgio Sant'Anna's novel Um romance de geração (2009), among which, the configuration of a character-writer. Taking as theoretical-critical assumptions the studies formulated by Faria (2012), Hutcheon (1984), Lepaludier (2002), Waugh (1984), among others, we hope that the results of the research, developed here, point to a principle of dialogue with other discussions already consolidated about the narrative in question.
