Este artigo pretende associar o conceito de imaginação em Bachelard à s
reflexões historiográficas recentes, que relacionam as práticas de escrita da história Ã
dimensão imaginativa do trabalho do historiador. Para realizar este intento, torna-
se relevante, inicialmente, sistematizar três aspectos de seu pensamento – suas
influências, suas crÃticas e seus novos elementos.
This article intends to associate Bachelard’s concept of imagination to the
recent historiographical reflections that make connections among the practices of
writing history and the imaginative dimension of the historian´s work. To carry
out this intention, it is relevant, initially, to systematize three aspects of his thought
– his influences, his criticism and his new elements.
