Este texto objetiva mostrar e discutir questões do ensino de matemática assistido pela tecnologia, principalmente a computacional, na área de estudo e pesquisa da educação matemática e no contexto da educação tecnológica. Apresenta algumas reflexões sobre a informatização da matemática em curso de graduação, em grupos de estudo e pesquisa do uso das novas tecnologias, especialmente do computador, com destaque para uma iniciativa, em fase de implantação, no Departamento de Matemática e Estatística – DME — da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais – PUC Minas —, no Brasil.
This paper aims to show and discuss some questions in the studies and researches of mathematics teaching assisted by technology, mainly at the computing area, and in the context of technological education. It shows some considerations of the mathematical computerization at undergraduate courses, study and research groups about the use of new technologies, especially of the computers, with eminence for an initiative in progress in the Mathematics and Statistic Department – DMS of the Pontifícia Catholic University of Minas Gerais - PUC Minas – Brazil.
