O estudo examina a influência da infraestrutura logística na integração do turismo na tríplice fronteira Brasil-Venezuela-Guiana, com foco no corredor rodoviário do Eixo Guianês. Busca compreender como as estradas BR-174 e BR-401 afetam o fluxo turístico entre as cidades fronteiriças de Roraima com a Guiana e a Venezuela. A região da Gran Sabana, na Venezuela, destaca-se no turismo de natureza, enquanto a crise política desviou turistas para compras na fronteira com a Guiana. O corredor turístico e logístico do Eixo Guianês é relevante para o desenvolvimento regional e a integração entre os países, porém enfrenta desafios, políticos, sociais,infraestrutura e gestão para otimizar o potencial turístico e promover a cooperação entre as nações vizinhas.
This study examines the influence of logistics infrastructure on tourism integration in the Brazil-Venezuela-Guyana tri-border region, focusing on the Guiana Axis road corridor. It seeks to understand how the BR-174 and BR-401 highways affect the flow of tourists between the border cities of Roraima, Guyana and Venezuela. The Gran Sabana region in Venezuela stands out for nature tourism, while the political crisis has diverted tourists to shopping on the border with Guyana. The Guiana Axis tourism and logistics corridor is relevant for regional development and integration between countries, but it faces political, social, infrastructure and management challenges to optimize tourism potential and promote cooperation between neighboring nations.
