O estudo teve como objetivo central conhecer as discussões sobre a Inteligência Artificial na literatura científica da Ciência da Informação. Quanto aos objetivos específicos, são: (1) Identificar os artigos científicos que abordam a questão da Inteligência Artificial na área de Ciência da Informação; (2) Analisar o conteúdo desses artigos científicos, verificando a abordagem entre a Inteligência Artificial e a Ciência da Informação (3) Categorizar os artigos científicos selecionados, por tipo de enfoque da Ciência da Informação sobre a Inteligência Artificial. A metodologia abordada foi Revisão da Literatura e análise do conteúdo, as bases escolhidas fora: WoS, SciElo e BRAPCI. Foram buscados artigos originais em inglês, português e espanhol. Foram analisados 114 artigos. O estudo mostrou as maneiras que a Inteligência Artificial está presente nas produções científicas na Ciência da Informação, apontando possibilidades de aplicação e desafios a serem enfrentados, tanto para o mercado, indústria, como para ciência.
The main objective of the study was to learn about the discussions on Artificial Intelligence in the scientific literature on Information Science. The specific objectives are: (1) To identify the scientific articles that address the issue of Artificial Intelligence in in the area of Information Science; (2) To analyze the content of these scientific articles, verifying the approach between Artificial Intelligence in and Information Science; (3) To categorize the selected scientific articles by type of IC approach to Artificial Intelligence in. The methodology used was a Systematic Literature Review, and the databases chosen were: WoS, SciElo and BRAPCI. Original articles in English, Portuguese and Spanish were searched for. A total of 114 articles were analyzed. The study showed the ways in which Artificial Intelligence in is present in scientific productions in Information Science, pointing out application possibilities and challenges to be faced, both for the markets, industry and science.
