Esta pesquisa objetiva trazer a importância da contação de histórias na Educação Infantil como um método eficiente na aprendizagem onde apresenta o quanto essas experiências desenvolvidas em torno do contar histórias podem encantar crianças na Educação Infantil. Se foi possível pelos resultados alcançados nessa pesquisa de cunho bibliográfico se foi possível evidenciar a eficácia da contação de histórias como recurso na formação do leitor se garantindo assim o enriquecimento do processo educacional numa perspectiva onde se valoriza a constituição de alunos críticos e reflexivos desde a tenra idade. Pois as narrativas orais, sobretudo as que têm por fundamento a leitura de textos literários, como verificado neste estudo, trazem em si passagens plurissignificativas a leitura e a compreensão de si e do mundo. Contudo, se concluí que os estudos teóricos, as leituras e as oficinas oportunizaram aos professores uma reflexão teórica e prática sobre a importância da contação de histórias para as crianças, porque foi usado como suporte o livro de literatura infantil de qualidade no cotidiano escolar.
This research aims to bring the importance of storytelling in Early Childhood Education as an efficient method in learning where it shows how these experiences developed around storytelling can delight children in Early Childhood Education. If it was possible due to the results achieved in this bibliographic research, it was possible to show the effectiveness of storytelling as a resource in the formation of the reader, thus guaranteeing the enrichment of the educational process in a perspective where the constitution of critical and reflective students is valued from an early age. age. For oral narratives, especially those based on the reading of literary texts, as verified in this study, bring in themselves plurisignificant passages to reading and understanding oneself and the world. However, it was concluded that theoretical studies, readings and workshops provided teachers with a theoretical and practical reflection on the importance of storytelling for children, because the quality children's literature book was used as a support in everyday school life.
