Resumo Português:
Este artigo apresenta conceitos dos termos informação, conhecimento e aprendizagem na percepção dos docentes do Curso de
Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal do Cariri - UFCA, utilizando o mapa conceitual como instrumento principal. Buscou-se
compreender junto aos docentes como ocorre o processo de aprendizagem acadêmica, para tanto, fez-se necessário mapear os
conceitos elencados pelos docentes, para elaboração do mapa conceitual. No intuito de validar nossa pesquisa, realizamos uma análise
de conteúdo nos conceitos apresentados nas falas dos atores investigados, para que assim, pudéssemos confrontá-los com a literatura
consultada para fundamentação teórica deste estudo. Foram utilizadas abordagens quantitativas e qualitativas de cunho descritivo e
exploratório, através de questionários aplicados junto aos docentes da UFCA. Analisando todos os dados obtidos, conclui-se que os
termos informação e conhecimento estão distantes de um consenso, sendo, portanto, aspectos multifacetados. Por meio deste estudo
espera-se instigar futuras investigações no campo da produção de pesquisa e contribuir com estudos posteriores e reflexões acadêmicas
sobre o assunto em pauta.

Discusses the Importance of the terms information and knowledge in its context , time and space , pointing out the various concepts
outlined by the teachers of the Course of Library , Federal University of Cariri - UFCA, this being the main objective of the Intended stud .
The main objectives of the work sought to understand with the teachers how is the academic learning , find in the literature the concepts of
information and knowledge , to perform content analysis of the speeches of the actors investigated and confront the varied concepts of
information and knowledge in literature with the concepts Identified in the voices of teachers. Accordingly, to Achieve the goals of An
extensive literature review and thematic order survey data and information from secondary sources was Conducted. For this, quantitative
and qualitative approaches descriptive and exploratory nature were used, with teachers through Questionnaires of UFCA. Analyzing all
the data it is concluded that the terms information and knowledge are far from reaching a tangible conclusion therefore being multifaceted aspects. Through this study is expected to instigate further investigations in the field of research output and Contribute to further academic
studies and reflections on the subject at hand.
