When create Passo da Guanxuma‘s city in his work, Caio Fernando Abreu
constructed a particular space. Present in several texts, this space followed,
from the 80‘s, the author‘s literary revolution. In this study, is established a
relation between the references to Passo presented in Abreu‘s work,
outlining the contours assumed by this city. Hereafter, it seeks to identify
how this fictional city is faced with the metropolises presented in the
analyzed texts.
