O presente artigo busca fazer uma reflexão sobre as atividades de ensino-aprendizagem em língua portuguesa com enfoque na utilização de textos dos mais variados gêneros, estudando específicamente o jornal em sua forma impressa como ferramenta de ensino para o desenvolvimento das habilidades linguísticas de ler e escrever. Parte do conceito de texto enquanto lugar de interação entre sujeitos, locutor e interlocutor, da linha bakhtiniana de compreensão da linguagem numa abordagem dialógico-interacional. Pretende também, refletir sobre o papel da escola, sobretudo nas aulas de língua materna, no fornecimento aos alunos de conhecimentos necessários para sua inserção no mundo como sujeitos ativos, críticos, questionadores do contexto que os cerca.
This article aims to reflect on the teaching-learning activities in English with a focus on the use of texts of various genres , studying specifically the newspaper in its printed form as a teaching tool for the development of language skills to read and write. Part of the concept of text as a place of interaction between subjects, speaker and listener , the Bakhtin line language comprehension in a dialogical - interactional approach. Also intends to reflect on the role of schools , particularly in mother tongue classes, in providing students with the knowledge necessary for their insertion in the world as active subjects , critical , questioning the context that surrounds them.
