O trabalho é um conceito sociológico fundamental, sobre o qual se teceram diversas considerações. Atualmente, o mesmo está carregado pela lógica do neoliberalismo, que busca desqualifica-lo e torna-lo cada vez mais fluído, valorizando-se apenas o ganho imediato. Entretanto, mesmo em um panorama no qual o trabalho mede-se pelo que pode gerar de riquezas, há ainda preconceitos em relação a algumas de suas formas. Busca-se, portanto, identificar as possíveis causas que levam ao menosprezo de determinadas atividades, tal como de lixeiros e pedreiros.
Work is a fundamental sociological concept, on which several considerations have been made. Currently, it is burdened by the logic of neoliberalism, which seeks to disqualify it and make it increasingly fluid, valuing only immediate gain. However, even in a scenario in which work is measured by what it can generate in terms of wealth, there are still prejudices regarding some of its forms. Therefore, we seek to identify the possible causes that lead to the disregard of certain activities, such as garbage collectors and bricklayers.
