O artigo tem como objetivo discutir e problematizar algumas repercussões sociais e valores legalmente atribuídos ao domínio das tecnologias assistivas no contexto da deficiência. Inspirada no viés da igualdade material com respeito à diferença, consagrado pela Convenção da ONU sobre os Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência, a abordagem sugerida envolve a releitura das orientações que são projetadas sobre o acesso e o uso dos recursos tecnológicos, à luz da interdependência e da autonomia relacional. O estudo possui natureza teórica e se desenvolveu mediante o procedimento jurídico-compreensivo, que parte da análise e da decomposição do problema, examinando-o pela ótica as possíveis repercussões no contexto da deficiência, para, então, apontar novas propostas de interpretação e aplicação das ideias discutidas.
The article aims to discuss some social repercussions and values legally attributed to the domain of assistive technologies in the context of disability. Inspired by the ideas of material equality with respect to difference, enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the suggested approach involves rereading the guidelines that are projected on access and use of technological resources, in the light of interdependence and of relational autonomy. This study has a theoretical nature and was developed through a legal-comprehensive procedure, which starts from the analysis and decomposition of the problem, examining it from the perspective of the possible repercussions in the context of disability, to then point out new proposals for the interpretation and application of the ideas discussed.
