Nitidamente seguidor da tradição fundada por Edgar Allan Poe, Rubem Fonseca, ao escrever o conto “Romance negro†espelha-se no conto Willian Wilson, de autoria do escritor americano. Este trabalho pretende, portanto, analisar em que medida o contista brasileiro lê, pelo viés da tradição da ruptura, o conto de Poe.
Clearly a follower of a tradition founded by Edgar Allan Poe, Rubem Fonseca in the short story “Romance Negro†considers Willian Wilson, written by the American writer. This study thus, aims an analysis of how the Brazilian writer reads through the tradition of rupture, Poe’s short story.
