A existência humana é uma escritura da falta, algo sempre nos escapa, e é sob os pilares desse desamparo que a organização simbólica do universo cultural se organiza. O ser humano, por seu caráter inacabado, é o ser mais “desesperadamente dependente da cultura”. Buscamos compreender no âmbito das ciências sociais, algumas dessas questões a partir do trabalho de Jacques Lacan ao pensar o sujeito como uma construção da linguagem. Esta submete-nos à cultura, à sociedade, mas paradoxalmente é o que possibilita nossa própria escritura de vida e suas transfigurações. A criação da cultura e da sociedade revela o ser humano como a única espécie que necessita criar o seu espaço de atuação e nesse processo torna possível a sua própria existência.
The human existence is a deed of the lack, something always is missing for us, and it is under the pillars of that abandonment that the symbolic organization of the cultural universe is organized. The human being, for his/her unfinished character, is the being "more hopelessly culture dependent". We search for understanding in the extent of the social sciences, some of those subjects starting from Jacques Lacan’s work when thinking the subject as a construction of the language. It submits us to the culture, to the society, but paradoxically it is what makes possible our own life deed and its transfigurations. The creation of the culture and of the society reveals the human being as the only species that needs to create his/her space of performance and in that process it makes possible his/her own existence.
