Este trabalho é uma reflexão acerca das relações entre literatura e sociedade, no que concerne ao romance moderno e(m) sua vinculação com o mundo moderno do trabalho. O objetivo é investigar, a partir da obra Passageiro do fim do dia (2010), de Rubens Figueiredo, como a modernização da forma do romance acompanhou, em paralelo, a modernização das relações trabalhistas. Para isso, partiremos da concepção marxista de luta de classes, na qual, segundo nossa hipótese, o autor se apoia para fazer uma crítica a essas relações de trabalho bem como ao Capitalismo.
This work is a reflection on the relations between literature and society, in what concerns the modern novel and (in) its connection with the modern world of work. The objective is to investigate, from Rubens Figueiredo's Passageiro do fim do dia (2010), how the modernization of the form of the novel accompanied, in parallel, the modernization of labor relations. In that sense, we will start with the Marxist conception of class struggle, in which, according to our hypothesis, the author relies on a critique of these labor relations as well as Capitalism.
