O presente artigo trata da filosofia reflexiva de Paul Ricoeur. Mostra como ele retoma a crítica à filosofia do cogito sem negar sua existência, pois considera que a filosofia é, antes de qualquer coisa, reflexiva, reflexão sobre o si, figura do cogito. Diante disso, nos perguntamos sobre o sentido de reflexão e o significado do si, sobre seu lugar na reflexão, sobre que tipo de sujeito é ele e, por fim, que tipo de ser é o si. Desse modo, mostraremos que Paul Ricoeur é um filósofo reflexivo e, igualmente, filósofo do si, inserido na tradição da filosofia reflexiva.
This article deals with the reflexive philosophy of Paul Ricoeur. It shows how he resumes the critique of the philosophy of the cogito without denying its existence, as he considers that philosophy is, above all, reflective, a reflection on the self, a figure of the cogito. In view of this, we ask ourselves about the sense of reflection and the meaning of the self, about its place in a reflection, about what kind of subject it is and, finally, what kind of being is the self. In this way, we will show that Paul Ricoeur is a reflective philosopher and, equally, a philosopher of the self, inserted in the tradition of reflective philosophy.
