Ao problematizarmos o uso da imagem fotográfica na pesquisa em estudos culturais, abordamos
duas perspectivas de análise: o fotógrafo/pesquisador, tomado neste artigo, como agente
produtor, tendo suas imagens como fonte de documentação a ser incorporada aos relatórios
de campo e a narrativa da pesquisa cientÃfica: fontes visuais que documentam a estrutura do
conjunto social em sua ação cotidiana e a fotografia produzida no grupo, ou seja, o uso da
imagem como marco de memória na reconstituição de eventos dentro do grupo social. Tratase
de padrões de representação e repetição, marcos temáticos e compositivos assim como um
diálogo com o passado através dos espaços, na perspectiva de uma semiologia da imagética
auto-representativa popular.
To the questioning the use of the image photographic at investigation in cultural learning, boarding
