O presente artigo propõe-se a interrogar pela contribuição possível da psicanálise no campo da assistência social. Partimos de um breve apanhado histórico para contextualizar o entrecruzamento discursivo. Utilizamos recortes da prática de trabalho com crianças, adolescentes e suas famílias, atendidos nos programas de assistência social, tanto os de abrigagem como os socioeducativos de meio aberto, para provocar a abertura da discussão sobre os aspectos políticos, institucionais e clínicos implicados, apontando diferenças da noção de escuta em relação ao sujeito de direitos na cidadania e de escuta da singularidade no laço social em relação ao sujeito do inconsciente na psicanálise.
The present article intends to interrogate about the possible contribution of the psychoanalysis in the field of the social assistance. We have started from a brief review to contextualize the discursive crossing over. We have used cuttings from the work practice with children, adolescents and their families, assisted in the of social assistance programs, both the shelter ones and the socioeducative programs in freedom (assisted in freedom), to provoke the opening of the discussion on the political, institutional and clinical aspects implicated. It was also pointed differences between the listening notion in relation to the subject of rights in the citizenship and listening of the singularity in the social tie in relation to the subject of the unconscious in the psychoanalysis.
