O curso de Psicologia teve seu início na UniFil, antigo Cesulon, em 1972 e vem formando anualmente profissionais de alta qualidade que atuam não só na nossa região, mas pelo Brasil afora e também em outros países. Passou por várias reformulações curriculares, buscando atualização, orientando-se sempre pelas diretrizes estabelecidas pelo MEC. Acompanhou as transformações políticas do país, saindo de uma grade com uma única visão de homem, próprio das ditaduras, chegando a ter na atualidade, múltiplas abordagens, respeitando as diversas formas de concepção do homem e de seu estar no mundo. Tem ofertado em seu currículo novos campos de trabalho em Psicologia, além dos tradicionais, primando pelo atendimento interdisciplinar e multiprofissional, relacionando-se com outros cursos ofertados pela instituição. Dá oportunidade aos alunos de escolherem ênfases após cursarem um sólido núcleo comum, podendo, com isso, aprofundaremse nas abordagens e campos de trabalho que mais os interessam. O curso possui 38 professores qualificados, que além de lecionarem, coordenam e supervisionam projetos, organizam eventos, são atuantes no CRP, publicam livros e artigos, atuam profissionalmente em Londrina e região. Oferece cursos de pós-graduação, sendo um dos únicos cursos do país a oferecer residência em psicologia com atendimento a pacientes do SUS.v
The Psychology course began at UniFil, formerly Cesulon, in 1972 and has been annually training high-quality professionals who work not only in our region, but also throughout Brazil and other countries. It has offered new fields of work in Psychology in addition to the traditional ones, prioritizing interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary care, in conjunction with other courses offered by the institution. It gives students the opportunity to choose emphases after studying a solid common core, allowing them to delve deeper into the approaches and fields of work that interest them most. The course has 38 qualified professors, who in addition to teaching, coordinate and supervise projects, organize events, are active in the CRP, publish books and articles, and work professionally in Londrina and the region. It offers postgraduate courses, being one of the only courses in the country to offer a residency in psychology with care for SUS patients.
