Este artigo é decorrente de uma experiência de mediação de leitura de um livro infanto-juvenil no âmbito de um projeto extensionista coordenado pelo Grupo XXX. Nosso objetivo é refletir sobre os sentidos que as crianças criaram em torno do papel político da mulher. Para tanto, mobilizamos a discussão teórica sobre os aspectos de práticas educativas perpassadas por perspectivas decoloniais, sugerindo o texto literário enquanto potência de criação para ressignificação de contextos sociais e culturais nos quais as crianças vivem. Apontamos para a compreensão de que o encontro que o texto literário promove com o seu destinatário condiz com as nossas percepções em torno de quem é o sujeito da relação literária. This article is the result of a reading mediation experience of a children's book created by us as part of an extension project coordinated by the Group XXX. The purpose of the article is to reflect on the senses that children have created around the political role of women. In order to do so, we mobilize the theoretical discussion about the aspects of educational practices permeated by decolonial perspectives, suggesting the literary text as a creative power for the re-signification of the social and cultural contexts in which the children live. The considerations of this work point to the understanding that the encounter that the literary text promotes with its recipient, is consistent with our perceptions about who is the subject of the literary relationship.
