Neste trabalho se pretende abordar alguns aspectos da obra do pintor e escritor catalão
Salvador DalÃ. Serão comentados seus escritos juvenis, incluindo seu romance prematuro, suas
apreciações sobre arte e polÃtica e seu afã por buscar transformações sociais. Far-se-á referência a sua
atração pelo surrealismo e aos primeiros poemas que publicou (nos quais já aparecem algumas das
técnicas surrealistas), e os que viriam a ser os elementos dalinianos caracterÃsticos. Também será
abordada sua conversão ao movimento surrealista ocorrida em 1928.
This article aims to approach some of the works of the Catalan painter and writer Salvador
Dali. Notes about his youth, including his early romance, his opinion about art and politics and his
eagerness to search for social changes will be commented. References to his attraction to the surrealism
and to his first published poems (in which some of the surrealist techniques already appear) will be
mentioned as well as the elements that would become the characteristic Dalinian elements. References to
Dali's conversion to the surrealism movement (1928) will be made.
