Este artigo objetiva refletir sobre a flexibilização que atualmente perpassa os setores do trabalho e da educação. As inúmeras mudanças estruturais das empresas acabam tornando descartável o trabalhador humano, frente à inserção do poderio tecnológico e robôs nos setores produtivos, tanto em países centrais quanto em países periféricos, que necessitam buscar para sua manutenção ou possível inserção neste mercado competitivo. Neste processo, a globalização transforma o trabalhador em cidadão do mundo, com rápidas transformações sobre o significado do que é trabalhar. Tais acontecimentos colocam urgentes desafios à Educação.
The aim of this article is to reflect on the flexibilization that currently pervades the work and education sectors. The countless structural changes in companies have ended up making human workers disposable, in the face of the insertion of technological power and robots in the productive sectors, both in central and peripheral countries, which need to seek them out in order to maintain or possibly enter this competitive market. In this process, globalization transforms the worker into a citizen of the world, with rapid changes in the meaning of what it means to work. These developments pose urgent challenges for education.
