Este artigo apresenta uma análise literária dos livros de Rute, Judite e Ester, os únicos livros do Antigo Testamento que têm protagonistas mulheres. Trata-se de uma leitura acerca do caráter de eleição dessas três mulheres por conta da ação e função empreendidas por elas dentro de três narrativas bíblicas estruturadas em três gêneros literários – tragédia, epopeia e lírica.
This paper presents an analysis of the Books of Ruth, Judith and Esther, which are the only Old Testament Books with female characters as protagonists. The analysis is concerned with the election character of these three women based on the actions and roles they performed in three biblical narratives which are structured in three literary genres “ tragedy, epic and lyric.
