O presente artigo visa analisar o Tribunal do Júri sob a óptica da criminologia crítica, explorando a linguagem utilizada na construção da figura do acusado e seu impacto na criminalização de minorias. Para tanto, utilizou-se o método hipotético-dedutivo, com fundamentação teórica e bibliográfica. Os resultados demonstram que a linguagem desempenha um papel central na perpetuação ou na resistência às desigualdades estruturais, destacando o potencial transformador do Tribunal do Júri.
This article aims to analyze the Jury Court from the perspective of critical criminology, exploring the language used in the construction of the figure of the accused and its impact on the criminalization of minorities. To this end, a hypothetical-deductive method was used, with theoretical and bibliographical foundations. The results demonstrate that language plays a central role in the perpetuation of or resistance to structural inequalities, highlighting the transformative potential of the Jury Court.
