Santa Maria de Jetibá é conhecida como a “cidade mais pomerana do EspÃrito Santo†devido
à concentração de descendentes pomeranos que ainda mantêm vivas as suas tradições e
manifestações culturais. Considerando-se que a cultura é a expressão mais clara de um
povo, o presente trabalho verifica como as singularidades da cultura pomerana podem ser
consideradas como atrativo turÃstico para o municÃpio.
Saint Maria de Jetibá is known as the "most pomeran city of the State of EspÃrito Santo" due
to the concentration of pomeran descendants, who still keep alive their cultural traditions and
manifestations. Considering that the culture is the clearest expression of a people, the
present work verifies how the singularities of the pomeran culture can be considered as
tourism attractive for the city.
