The present paper aims at analyzing a literature that can‘t be defined as
belonging solely to a national literature. It is about the literature produced and
published in German in Brazil. The topics covered in this production focus on
the Brazil-Germany relation, but concentrate more on the life of Germans in
Brazilian lands. This literature, however, is neither included in the Brazilian
literature nor in the German one, floating in a non-place. Based on the reading
of German and Brazilian theorists, a discussion around this issue will be carried
out.
