Resumo: Este trabalho tem como objetivo discutir questões relativas ao direito, à cidadania, à desigualdade social e à educação presentes na obra de Vik Muniz. Assim, através de um contraponto que será estabelecido entre textos não-verbais e verbais busca-se refletir sobre a importância do significado critico das representações artísticas e contemporâneas de Muniz com o sentido pedagógico do ensinar
