O presente trabalho levanta uma discussão referente ao Uso do Solo em Áreas de Preservação Permanente-APPs de reservatórios artificiais, correlacionando-os com o planejamento urbano que atinge a região que compreende o entorno do Lago da Perucaba Antigo Açude do DNOCS no município de Arapiraca-AL. Objetivou-se principalmente com esse trabalho identificar as ações sobre o uso e ocupação do solo avaliando a não adequação e o descumprimento da legislação vigente, mediante o uso e as políticas de planejamento urbano e parcelamento do solo do município de Arapiraca. Para tal, fez-se necessário municie-se de fontes bibliográficas referentes à temática, bem como pesquisa de campo, além de análise das leis ambientais que regem a região. Desse modo, de acordo com os resultados da pesquisa o uso não apropriado do solo em trechos da margem da barragem, é resultado de uma não adequação à legislação ambiental associada às práticas de ordenamento e parcelamento territorial de fins econômicos. Com base no que foi diagnosticado, observa-se que a maior parte das inadequações quanto ao uso do potencial pedológico no entorno do Lago da Perucaba está relacionado à presença de desconformidades nas ocupações urbanas, mediante a ineficiência do poder público de dar condições dignas de moradias, bem como o destino da região caracterizada como de proteção ambiental para projetos e empreendimentos de vários setores do tipo industrial, residencial, de comércio e serviços, contribuindo para o processo de ocupação e degradação de nascentes, matas ciliares da Bacia do Rio Perucaba
The present work raises a discussion regarding the Use of Soil in Areas of Permanent Preservation-APPs of artificial reservoirs, correlating them with the urban planning that reaches the region that comprises the surroundings of the Lake of the Perucaba Ancient Water of the DNOCS in the municipality of Arapiraca/AL. The main objective is to identify the actions on land use and occupation assessing the non-compliance and non-compliance with the current legislation, through the use and policies of urban planning and land parceling in the municipality of Arapiraca. To do so, it was necessary to provide bibliographical sources on the subject, as well as field research, as well as an analysis of the environmental laws that govern the region. Thus, according to the results of the research, the nonappropriate use of the soil in stretches of the dam margin is a result of a non-compliance with the environmental legislation associated with the land use planning and economic land subdivision practices. Based on what was diagnosed, it is observed that most of the inadequacies regarding the use of the pedological potential in the surroundings of the Lake of the Perucaba is related to the presence of disconformities in the urban occupations, through the inefficiency of the public power to give dignified housing conditions , As well as the destination of the region characterized as environmental protection for projects and projects of various sectors of the industrial, residential, commercial and service type, contributing to the process of occupation and degradation of springs, riparian forests of the Perucaba River Basin.
