O mini milho é um produto oriundo da cultura do milho (Zea mays), essa prática de cultivo ainda está em crescimento no Brasil, mas pode ser bastante rentável. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar a densidade populacional ideal para a produção total sem palha por hectare do mini milho em Itumbiara – GO. O delineamento experimental empregado foi (DBC), sendo quatro repetições e cinco tratamentos, com diferentes stands: Tratamento 1 – 60.000 plantas/hectare, testemunha; Tratamento 2 – 120.000 plantas/hectare; Tratamento 3 – 180.000 plantas/hectare; Tratamento 4 – 240.000 plantas/hectare; Tratamento 5 – 300.000 plantas/hectare. Conclui-se que o stand populacional de 300 mil plantas/hectare do híbrido MG711 foi superior em produção no município de Itumbiara-GO.
The mini corn is a product of maize (Zea mays), this cultivation practice is still growing in Brazil, but can be very profitable. The objective of the present work was to evaluate the ideal population density for the total production without straw per hectare of the mini corn in Itumbiara - GO. The experimental design was (DBC), being four replications and five treatments, with different stands: Treatment 1 - 60,000 plants / hectare, control; Treatment 2 - 120,000 plants / hectare; Treatment 3 - 180,000 plants / hectare; Treatment 4 - 240,000 plants / hectare; Treatment 5 - 300,000 plants / hectare. It is concluded that the population stand of 300 thousand plants / hectare of the hybrid MG711 was superior in production in the municipality of Itumbiara-GO.
