Este trabalho tem por objetivo observar a efetividade das políticas federais elaboradas para promover o desenvolvimento regional do Nordeste do Brasil, desde o ano de 1950 até o presente momento. O estudo faz-se importante diante da necessidade de promoção do desenvolvimento da região nordestina, diante da latente desigualdade regional brasileira.
The objective of this work is to observe the effectiveness of the federal policies developed to promote the regional development of Northeast Brazil, from the year 1950 to the present time. The study is important in view of the need to promote the development of the northeastern region, given the latent regional inequality in Brazil.
