O objeto deste artigo se direciona para a contribuição
que as personagens femininas de algumas obras
aristofânicas oferecem, no sentido de auxiliar nos estudos
relativos ao gênero na Antiguidade, na medida em que extraÃmos
delas questões importantes para as discussões ligadas
ao feminino na Atenas clássica.
The object of this paper is directed to the
contribution that the female characters, some works of
Aristophanes offer, to assist in studies on gender in
antiquity, in that it drew important issues for discussions
relating to women in classical Athens.
