O presente texto discute as relações entre educação ambiental e ensino de História. Propõe-se
discutir ciência e interdisciplinaridade, as interconexões com o pensamento pós-estruturalista
enfocando a educação ambiental como tema transversal à atividade do ensino. Esse estudo de
educação ambiental integra a linha de pesquisa: Fundamentos da Educação Ambiental do
PPG em Educação Ambiental da Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande – FURG,
que trabalha com uma visão unificada da formação que compreende a área do conhecimento
que abarca a História, aproximando a perspectiva ambiental do mote de pesquisa e
investigação. Dessa maneira, almeja-se pensar a dimensão que compreende a educação e a
prática do ensino de história.
This article discusses the relationship between environmental education and history teaching.
It is intended to discuss science and interdisciplinarity; the interconnections with the poststructuralism
thought, focusing on environmental education as crosscutting theme to the
activity of teaching. This study of environmental education integrates the following research
line: Elements of Environmental Education of the Graduation Program (PPG) in
Environmental Education of the Federal University of Rio Grande Foundation (FURG - Fundação Universidade Federal do Rio Grande). It works on a unified view of training that
comprises the area of knowledge which encompasses history, bringing closer the
environmental outlook to research and investigation themes. Thus, we aim to ponder the
extension that comprises education and the teaching of history.
