Ensinar História nunca foi uma tarefa simples, muitas questões podem ser levantadas a respeito das dificuldades enfrentadas pelos professores de história, essas dificuldades no Brasil não estão restritas apenas ao âmbito de sala de aula, mas ultrapassam os muros da escola e encontram novos desafios no campo polÃtico. Por isso, o presente trabalho propõe-se a problematizar as derrotas e vitórias de alguns perÃodos pontuais do ensino de História em nosso paÃs. Serão aqui apresentadas, de forma a chamar a atenção de todos os educadores, as necessidades constantes de lutar por melhorias que muitas vezes não se restringem apenas ao campo pedagógico, porém alcançam toda uma dimensão polÃtica, como o presente texto procurou demonstrar.
Teach History has never been a simple task. Many questions can be raised
about the difficulties faced by teachers of this subject. These difficulties in Brazil are not only
restricted to the scope of the classroom, but go beyond the school walls and they find new
challenges in the political field. Thus, the present article aims to question the defeats and
victories of some specific periods of History teaching in our country. It will be presented here,
in order to draw the attention of all educators, the constant needs to strive for improvements
that often are not restricted to the educational domain, but there is a political dimension too,
as this paper will demonstrate.
