O presente texto analisa a tele série de ficção policial Law & Order –Special Victims Unit; um seriado derivadoda franquia Law & Order especializado em crimes sexuais. O objetivo principal é a análise descritiva da série, problematizando-se como as narrativas estabelecem uma abdução singular, que procura definir quem é a vítima, além de determinar quem é o culpado. O método adotado é a análise narrativa das 18 temporadas e de seus episódios mais importantes. O quadrado semiótico narrativo de Greimas foi utilizado para lera estrutura lógica do seriado. E a conclusão é que: a) a abdução da vítima procura distinguir os agressores estratégicos dos agressores táticos imediatos (que, vistos em perspectiva, também são vítimas); b) há uma diferença entre a situação de perda e a vulnerabilidade emocional oculta na definição de vítima; c) há uma relação entre a condição de vítima e a falta de autonomia emocional (as relações de dependência de diferentes tipos); e, finalmente, d) existe a interdependência recíproca entre os actantes da vítima, do juiz, do policial e do criminoso.
This text analyzes the tele series of fiction police Law & Order-Special Victims Unit; A series derived from the Law & Order franchise specialized in sex crimes. The main objective is the descriptive analysis of the series, problematizing how the narratives establish a singular abduction, that tries to define who the victim is, besides determining who is the culprit. The method adopted is the narrative analysis of the 18 seasons and their most important episodes. And the conclusion is that: a) victim abduction seeks to distinguish strategic aggressors from immediate tactical aggressors (who, viewed in perspective, are also victims); b) there is a difference between the situation of loss and the hidden emotional vulnerability in the definition of victim; c) there is a relation between the victim's condition and the lack of emotional autonomy (dependency relations of different types); and finally d) there is a reciprocal interdependence between the actants of the victim, the judge, the police and the criminal.
