Este artigo integra o conjunto de estudos no contexto da realização de doutorado no Programa de Pós-graduação em Serviço Social da Escola de Serviço Social da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, mediante bolsa do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq), e é produto de pesquisas sistemáticas que vêm sento desenvolvidas desde 2009. Visamos aqui problematizar questões relevantes à discussão sobre a ética e Serviço Social, no que tange aos princípios elencados no Código de Ética Profissional de 1993, construindo essas reflexões a partir dos fundamentos ontológicos da ética, no que tange à perspectiva marxista a esse respeito, analisando os princípios que tratam sobre a luta contra todas as formas de preconceito e discriminação. Para tanto, pretendemos uma apreciação qualitativa dos princípios VI e XI do Código de Ética de 1993, realizando uma análise bibliográfica da discussão sobre a ética, bem como sobre discriminação, temas estes tão atuais para a sociedade brasileira e para a profissão, diante do avanço do conservadorismo.
This article integrates the set of studies in the context of the PhD in the Social Work Postgraduate Program of the School of Social Service of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, through a grant from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and is the product of systematic research that has been developed since 2009. We aim here to problematize questions relevant to the discussion about ethics and Social Work, regarding the principles listed in the Code of Professional Ethics of 1993, constructing these reflections from the ontological foundations of ethics, regarding the Marxist perspective in this regard, analyzing principles that deal with the fight against all forms of prejudice and discrimination. In order to do so, we intend a qualitative appreciation of Principles VI and XI of the 1993 Code of Ethics, conducting a bibliographical analysis of the discussion on ethics, as well as on discrimination, topics so current for Brazilian society and for the profession, before the advancement of conservatism.
