Nesse artigo apresentamos alguns elementos que possibilitam compreender melhor as condições do trabalho docente de assistentes sociais em Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES). A partir de indagações e reflexões construídas ao longo do percurso da formação e do exercício profissional, foi que surgiu o interesse em desenvolver a presente análise. Pretendese retratar sobre as transformações no ensino superior que impactam a formação dos discentes e que denotam, nesse sentido, uma série de tensões em relação à formação e na efetivação do projeto ético-político profissional do Serviço Social. Assim, através da compreensão de que o trabalho é a categoria fundante da sociabilidade humana, à luz da perspectiva histórica marxiana, torna-se possível relacionar os impactos das mudanças ocorridas no mundo do trabalho e a ofensiva neoliberal ao trabalho docente, nesse caso destacando o curso de Serviço Social, tornando-se, portanto, fundamental a compreensão da sua inserção na divisão social e técnica do trabalho e o seu processo de execução. Utilizou-se levantamento e análise bibliográfica e a experiência da formação em uma instituição educacional de cunho empresarial.
In this article we present some elements that make possible to better understand the conditions of the teaching work of social workers in higher education institutions. Coming from the inquiries and reflections built along the course of training and professional practice, it grew the interest on developing the analysis presented. It is intended to portray the transformations in higher education that impacts the training of students and that denote, in this sense, a series of tensions related to the formation and in the effectiveness of the professional ethical-political project of Social Work. Thus, through the understanding that work is the founding category of human sociability, in the light of the Marxian historical perspective, it becomes possible to relate the impacts of changes in the world of work and the neoliberal offensive to the teaching work, in this case highlighting the social work course, thus becoming essential to understand their insertion in the social and technical division of labor and its implementation process. We used a survey and bibliographic analysis, also the experience of the training in an educational institution with a business nature.
