Esse artigo tem sua origem em parte da revisão de literatura sobre resolução de problemas e estudo em grupo, realizada para a pesquisa de mestrado do primeiro autor na área de Educação Matemática, sob a orientação da segunda autora. Nele, realizamos uma breve revisão da literatura que, no campo da Educação Matemática, trata da temática “resolução de problemas”, um eixo importante de inúmeros trabalhos científicos tanto em âmbito nacional como internacional. Nosso objetivo ao realizarmos o debate entre a resolução de problemas e o estudo em grupo é fomentar o uso conjunto dessas estratégias metodológicas com o intuito de propiciar melhorias ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem da Matemática.
This paper is based in part on the literature review on problem solving and group study, performed for the master’s research of the first author's in the mathematics education field, under the guidance of the second author. It was conducted a brief review on the literature, that in the mathematics education field, it has as a theme "problem solving", a major axis of several scientific papers both nationally and internationally. We aim to accomplish the debate between problem solving and the group study is to promote the joint use of these methodological strategies in order to provide improvements to the teaching and learning of mathematics.
