Este trabalho discorre sobre os aspectos imagéticos internos e ex-ternos presentes no conto “Tango”, de Dirceu Leal e na canção “Domingo no Parque”, de Gilberto Gil. Seu objetivo se consistiu em identificar e descrever, a partir da concepção teórica de fanopeia, as imagens presentes nas obras supracitadas. Teve como proposta metodológica a descrição do conto e da canção a partir de uma mirada teórico-crítica acerca de como as imagens se apresentam em ambas as criações. Para atender a essa atividade, foram necessárias as contribuições de Ezra Pound (1976; 2006) acerca de fanopeia e imagens poéticas; Ruth Finnegan (2008), para tratar da canção e Tânia Carvalhal (2006), para lidar com a comparação entre linguagens artísticas, dentre outros. A pesquisa teve como resultado a confirmação de que é pos-sível ler as obras a partir das informações imagéticas, de modo a chegar nos seus respectivos significados.
This paper deals with internal and external imagery aspects present in Dirceu Leal’s tale “Tango” and Gilberto Gil’s song “Sunday at the Park”. The aim was to identify and describe, from the theoretical conception of Phanopoeia, the images present in that pieces mentioned above. It had as a methodological proposal the description of the story and the song from a theoretical-critical perspective on how the images are presented in the works. In order to attend to this activity, the contributions of Ezra Pound (1976; 2006) concerning Phanopoeia and poetic images appeared as theoretical proposal; Ruth Finnegan (2008) to deal with the song and Tânia Carvalhal (1986) to deal with the comparison between artistic languages, among others. The research resulted in confirmation that it is possible to read the works from the imagery, so as to arrive at their respective meanings.
