Este artigo apresenta uma análise crítica e reflexiva sobre a produção literária e a biografia da escritora portuguesa Florbela Espanca a partir da representação do feminino. O presente estudo será norteado pela perspectiva da escrita de si, conceito discutido por Michel Foucault (1992). Analisaremos no presente texto o uso insistente da primeira pessoa, observando sua re-petição como elemento discursivo que corporifica o entrelaçamento do eu indivíduo com o eu autor, evidenciando a linha tênue entre esses. Outrossim, esta pesquisa também tem por objetivo analisar de que forma se dá a repre-sentação da imagem feminina na produção literária de Florbela Espanca, contextualizando seu lirismo, a história da mulher dentro da conjuntura histórico-literária e a produção literária florbeliana na construção de seu estilo intimista.
This paper presents a reflective critical analysis of the literary production and biography of the Portuguese writer Florbela Espanca, based on the representation of the feminine. It will be guided by the perspective of self-writing discussed by Michel Foucault. In this paper we analyze the insistent use of the first person, observing its repetition as a discursive element that embodies the intertwining of the individual self with the author function, highlighting the fine line between them. Furthermore, this research also aims at analyzing how the female image is represented in Florbela Espanca’s literary production, contextualizing her lyricism, the history of women within the historical-literary conjuncture and Florbela’s literary production in the construction of her intimate style.
